5, Blake Sonnet, I highly recommend this car hire. We were ripped off by a combination of Easy Jet & Record Go who combined left a family of 4 stranded in Thessaloniki without a hire car at night after a long day travelling unless we paid double the amount of what we had already paid. However fortunately we quickly found Salonica Rent a car based in the rail station. The staff were friendly understanding and polite. The price is fair and the car we used was really good. Look no further for a hire car. We will definitely use this excellent service again in the future.

5, Bo den Hollander, Super good experience with renting a car from Salinica rent a car. They picked us up from the airport and we could deliver the car in front of us hotel. The communication went very relaxed and good, and we got the deposit back really fast. We rented a Fiat Panda and it was perfect for our trip of 6 days. The car was in very good shape and felt new. I would highly recommend to rent your car here. They are very sincere and honest. I felt good about everything in the process.

Salonica rental has always been brilliant to answer promptly all our enquiries before travelling and at arrival. Very easy to pick up our cars from airport with tailored service to fit our different travelling schedules and pick up times/locations. Highly recommended.
5, Asaf Levy, What a great company ! 5 hours before I should have pickup the car I've informed them that my flight was delayed in 24 hours and also my return date delayed They have confirmed everything and I got excellent service The car was OK and the communication via WhatsApp was easy and smooth Both delivery and return was right on time although I have changed locations and dates Don't have to wait in long lines at the airport just ask for delivery HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
5, Sarah Oz Johnson, Had a great experience renting from Salonica while visiting the city (did an overnight trip to Meteora, with stops at the synagogue in Veria, the old village of Palaios Panteleimonas, the beach, and a quick hike in Enipeas Gorge). Prices were much better than the competitors, communication by email in advance was excellent, and the car was dropped off at our hotel, which was very convenient. The car, a hybrid automatic Toyota Yaris, was clean and full of gas, I was encouraged to document the existing scratches on the bumpers (and they did, too), and my cash deposit was quickly given back in full when I returned the car. We returned it to the train station and it was a little confusing exactly where to leave the car, but their office is right inside in the mini-mall area and they can help direct you. They also helped me get coins for the bus fare and asked around to make sure I was getting on the right bus -- excellent, friendly service! There are gas stations near the station so it's easy to fill up beforehand (note that attendants fill up for you and you pay inside), and driving in Greece was very easy -- roads smooth and fast, well-marked, there were many toll booths on our route but all had automatic kiosks that took credit card. Highly recommended!

5, Bel, Punctual delivery and picking up of vehicle to/from hotel in Thessanoliki. Happy to support a local business instead of the usual big car rental companies. Fair prices and the car I received was in excellent condition. Great communications via WhatsApp. One feedback about the 300 EUR deposit acceptable only in cash or credit card (no debit card) which may cost renters extra if they used a non EUR CC. In my case, the forex difference added an extra 15 eur cost. I would advise non EU renters to give cash as deposit instead.

The car was clean and well maintained and we had a lovely time driving around with no problems.
